Comments in PHP
Comments on PHP code line not made as part of the program. Its purpose is to learn by looking at the code.
Comments can be used on:
- Let others understand your code
- Remind yourself of what you did - Most programmers have experienced a return to work after a year or two and have had to re-evaluate what they did. Comments can remind you what you were thinking when you wrote the code
PHP supports several ways to comment:

Syntax for single-line comments:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>

// This is a single-line comment
# This is also a single-line comment

Syntax for multiple-line comments:

This is a multiple-lines comment block

Using comments to leave out parts of the code:

// You can also use comments to leave out parts of a code line
